The LRE Group Agent of the Year Awards were established in 2016 to recognize those property professionals who have exemplified the brand's mission to defy mediocrity and deliver extraordinary experiences. LRE Group recognizes that a truly relentless agent generates more than just sales results, but also creates memorable interactions that reinforce the true value of their role in the real estate journey. The brand identifies deserving agents and awards them annually at a gala awards ceremony. The 2020 awards were presented at a low-key event in keeping with the current COVID 19 protocols in place.

Monique Hattingh, Agent of The Year 2020, is known for her gratitude and exceptional service amongst her clients. She embodies the philosophy, "there are no challenges, only opportunities." Whether dealing with difficult buyers or flawed sales transactions, Monique perseveres by staying focused on her philosophy. Despite all the obstacles, she achieved her end goal, which was to make the client happy when the sale is done and beyond.

"I eat, breathe, and live real estate," said Danie Lambrechts 1st Runner Up Agent of The Year. "It is so important to do more than what is expected because you are helping people achieve their dream of homeownership."

Denize Vermeulen, 2nd Runner Up Agent of The Year, commented, "Whether it's assisting a young couple purchasing their first home, or helping a family find that perfect space of their own, it's about understanding someone else's goal and helping them achieve that success!"
